Sorry I've been so slow on the pics Randy. I thought this was a secret surprise for the group. Guys... I buzzed over, watched Randy work on the donor car.

Here'* some initial pics of the first Bill and Randy junkyard run and shifter find. Randy couldn't wait to get back to start working his creative magic on the shifter and console.

Thanks Bill for the additional pics. I forgot all about them.

Did you take a "before" pic of the console? I was so happy that we got it working mechanically in the car that I just started cutting

Emoticon usage disclaimer:
I realize that the above inserted emoticon is labled arcade but it certainly looks like it is trying like hell to make something work and therefore was applicable in this situation

Negative. They are actually in the trunk. I disassembled them in order to clean and polish the lenses which were hazy. They just need to be sealed back up and I'm waiting for the right temp so the butyl rubber is easy to work.

Don't worry, pal. I'll make you proud that your tails lived on.

Project looks good. I can't wait to see it when you run out of ideas... It'll be a whole new car. And nice shirt in the last picture... great for all those nay-sayers.
