No. Don't need them. They bolt right up to the stock ICM. You only need them if you go to the MSD DIS4 ignition system.

I had only one bad coil. I've been running off Jseabert'* for a month. I figured it was time to buy my own. Always change them as a set of 3. The MSD'* are cheaper than new stock coils.
