A dead motor would not operate, this motor has worked just fine for 115000 miles, 45 of which were under my care. It made it another 666 miles home before issues occured.

That comment attacks my character, I am not that kind of guy. I am going to do whatever I can to help him fix this car.. someone that would have sold a car with a dead motor would have told him ' too f'ing bad '... I am NOT that guy. Please do not make comments in that direction either.

Thank you.

I'm really sorry to hear that haro...just when you think your doing something nice for yourself for once something HAS to screw up. It'* happened to me too many times. I'm sure in the end everything will work itself out.

On a side note, what in the world would cause this to happen at just 115k on the clock?

We don't directly know right now, but my thoughts are KR from Boost. It was still a modified engine that had a small pulley left over from older mods.

Again, we don't directly know.

I know that there is a yard by me that has newer stuff. I saw what looked to be an 00+ SLE/SSEi in there last time I was at the u-pull-it yard next door. I looked and they have a 2001 PA Ultra engine with 61k for $1149. Stock number D20741

hey now ur taking it all wrong. im not saying u sold him a car knowing that it was bad. im just saying if i were him id be mad that it did die. i bet he his mad, i would be. NO body wants to buy ANY car and have it die less then 1000miles later. its good that ur willing to help him out, it shows that u really didnt know. its just that some poeple would just say sry ur crap out of luck. so plz dont take what i said the wrong way.
