top right and bottom left did the trick.

I filled it to 20 psi and put the relay back in. It started running on it'* own at that point. I've got it filled to 30psi although I need 40psi to be fully charged at 80*. But I ran out of r134a. so I'll have to buy some more to top it off.

It'* blowing cold at 30psi though!

pro-tip(that i learned from a pro): keep filling in more refrigerant until it stops getting colder. once you pass that point, it will actually start getting warmer.

i forget the technical explanation of this, but i can confirm it. the MC was "low" one time, so i added a bit more, and it actually started getting warmer... it was the craziest thing, but worth remembering. a nice digi-thermometer stuck in one of the vents is a good indicator.

I could hear a little bit of gas leaking out of the quick connect on the low pressure side. It reminded me that I forgot to put the cap back on. Is it going to leak out all of that refrigerant I just put in?

possibly.... depends if the cap can hold it in. thin walled plastic isn't that great of a sealer though....

Today was a busy day for the GTP.

First I sent it to the shop to have the ac serviced. Ice cold air nom nom!

Then it went to my friends house to hook up a scanner. We did 2 WOT runs to check for knock retard. The first run was just wot through first gear. I got a slight peak of 3* KR. The second run was WOT to 55mph. There was no KR through first gear, but as soon as it shifter into second I got 4.1* KR only for a moment.

Should i be concerned about this? I don't know if the tank had premium gas in it when I got it. I've put in about 5 gallons of premium so there is at least a little bit of higher octane in there.

higher gears will load the engine more, making it more susceptible to knock.
