Tonight'* progress:

All of the parts removed from the old 3.1. There are a handful of items that won't transfer over to the 3500 because of differences in the block.
The lower engine mount won't transfer - we will get one off of a gen2 3x00
Passenger dogbone mount won't transfer - we will get one off of a gen2 3x00
A/C compressor won't transfer due to pass. dogbone mount - gen2 3x00
Turbo oil feed line is a different size - will be heading to the hardware store
ICM and coilpack won't transfer - gen2 3x00 with wiring harness
Turbo oil return line won't work - will drill/tap oilpan

Wont fit due to the car:
3.1 water pump will not be used - get heater core lines from 94-96 grand prix
UIM won't be used - Using a 3400 UIM from u-body van to retain egr
Throttle body is flybywire - get 56mm TB from 3400
Throttle body cable mount will be gen2 custom for kickdown cable

Stuff that did transfer (so far)
Oil pressure adapter and Oil cooler
Coolant feed fitting
Driver side dogbone mount
Turbo exhaust manifolds (minus bolts... TOO RUSTY!)
Alternator mount bracket / alternator

We are off to the junkyard tomorrow as I have a hefty list of things to get. That gen2 3x00 engine mount is going to be the worst. :p

Sorry I didn't snap any pictures. I basically have two empty motors right now and a slew of parts all over the floor.

Oh you know it you got your parts list, oh and dont forget we figured out the kickdown cable just need to figure out how to connect it, we might have to make a trip to caultas too if the one magnum motor at bryants is already gone, i want a new intake manifold

i'd be ready to slap a bigger TB on it in the future... the DBW stockers are 65mm.

For what? Just to paint it?

For the kick down cable... we should look for a 93ish grand prix with a 3100 and see if we cant find one that already has a kickdown cable on it... that will be our throttle body
