Default Turbo a 3800 ln3?

I was wondering if anyone would have an idea on weather or not turbocharging the 3800 in my 88 bonne would work. I plan to get a rebuilt engine with some better internals before i do it but i thought i might try searching for
Good deals if this seems possible. Any opinion would be great thanks.

The only documented instance that I know of is here:

https://www.gmforum.com/your-ride-gm-pictures-videos-89/black-magic-1991-sse-turbo-217932/

The pictures are long gone from the looks of it, as well as most of the posters in the thread, so please don't bother posting in it.

There have been mentions of others, but I haven't seen the builds on them.
