Default Pontiac Grand Am 2001 GT swap

What do you think about an LS4 swap? Too difficult? Would it be necessary to modify mounts and everything else? I would like to know your opinion 🙌🏻. Or what would be the best swap for Grand Am.

Could probably be done with the radiator on the roof and widened front suspension and a new hood and firewall and dash. Not a lot of room in that engine bay. Biggest engine it ever had from the factory was a 3.4L 60-degree v-6, and the LS4 is a 5.3L 90-degree V-8.

I have the 3.4L V-6, the problem would be space, would a supercharged 3800sc be cheaper? I've seen that even the transmission can match. Thank you!

Yes, definitely a 3800SC would be cheaper than an LS4. It still would probably have some trouble fitting because it is a 90-degree engine, taller than a 3.4, longer, and has an extra layer of belt and pulleys.

I'm not sure what you're referring to here . . . ?
