The standard key would solve the issue, assuming the vehicle is Passkey Equipped, which I don't believe all of them are. The accessibility isn't so much the concern, because some permission was implied when allowing said child to retrieve items from the vehicle. Keep the real keys secured, the dummy can just be hanging by the door.
