2006 gxp 5.3 cks issues
had a check engine light pop on today, hooked it up to a code scanner and its saying the the engine'* misfiring and that my crankshaft position sensor is malfunctioning, my question is by replacing the cks is that going to fix the misfires?
also im having some issues locating the sensor, from what I've read its under the exhaust manifold, but I've yet to locate it, is this something i will be able to swap out without to much trouble? its only one bolt to swap the sensor out but how much stuff am i going to have to disassemble to get to it? and info will be helpful, thanks

from what im seeing and hearing, you have to remove the right exhaust manifold along with some various engine components to get at the cks, is it possible to replace the cks without removing the manifold, any sage advice about this job is welcome
