Default 2006 Torrent issues

Our Torrent is making us crazy. After multiple problems recently, we finally managed to narrow things down. A couple of weeks ago, we had the heater blend door replaced, and it seemed like everything was finally fixed and the car was working well. A few days ago, we noticed moisture on the driver'* side floor. We'd had some rain, so I figured it was water leaking from the crappy drain system. But today I noticed that odor -- coolant leak.

So, here'* my question. Is it a fair assumption that the mechanic caused damage during the blend door repair that is now causing this leak, or is this just bad luck? I know there'* no way to be certain. Just looking for opinions.

Thanks.

If the problem cropped up right after the repair, then yes Id make the assumption that they damaged the core. Take it back and explain what has happened. A good shop will make it right.
