Out of curiosity, what are the reasons for this? (not looking to argue or anything just curious) Mainly just because I can't think of any reasons that make sense to me other than planning a turbo in the future.

Short-term reason is to play it safe...I don't want to stick myself with a knock-monster (or the requirement to run higher-octane fuel n/a)

Long-term reason is to keep open the possibility--however remote--to try out a ZZP SS M90 kit.

This is a DD and not a track-beast, so I'm going with baby steps!
