Im in the process of having my 4T60E rebuilt. Is it worht switching to synthetic ATF? Or should I run regular Dexron ATF? Are there addatives that work well with regular ATF instead of using synthetic? What are the your opinions?

I'd say with the full rebuild you should be fine to use the Synthetic.... You will have a fresh trans So I don't see any issue here..

Is there any kind of noticeable difference in using the synthetic versus the conventional? Does the trans shift better, run all cooler temps? What would the advantages be to the synthetic?
