Yeah it can be a royal PITA sometimes, but we all keep doing it for some reason.



Today I had a few things I wanted to get straightened out before I go to Intense in a few days. Iíve had a slight miss when I first fire up the car and a small vacuum leak. The vacuum leak was easy just the rubber T on the LIM needed to have the vac lines reseated.

I pulled a few plugs (NGK TR55s) to check to see how they are burningÖ They look good temp wise but you can tell Iíve been running pig rich. & I also found my problem causing the misfire; my #6 plug boot was barely on the plug.

I also tweaked the throttle cable bracket to allow for WOT again.


I also changed my oil and put in a new PCV valve for the heck of it.

Iím looking forward to Thursday with great anxiousness.

You are still running on your stock PCM or do you have the new MAF etc tables in your pcm?

I had Intense write a pcm for me with new tables for the LQ4 MAF and delete certain codes and such for the cam. I told them once it was running I was going to get a trans and dyno tune so they went very rich on the fueling purposely for safety till I get on the dyno

Coming home from work today I was merging onto the freeway and the trans was in 3rd gear. I eased into the throttle so it wouldnít down shift into 2nd; but just my luck it shifted into 2nd. Funny thing is the revs came up but I didnít speed up any in that second before I got out of the gas. This transmission will just be in the knick of time, I also rolled over to 174k this morning.

I talked to Todd today and Iím going with 3k stall and Intense is going to get the subframe bushings & hardware for me, for less then half the local stealership wanted

I'm in Columbus now, I've been here since 7:30pm. I got stuck in some major traffic leaving home and my transmission was slamming on the shifts like never before . But I made it here, in the morning I'll have 8miles to drive to Intense. Feel free to come by & visit

Nervous? Nah I was only nervous about the 160miles coming down to Columbus; I'll push her a$* to Intense now if I need to! Yeah tomorrow I will spend almost as much at Intense as I paid for my car 2 1/2 years ago Soon she will be a brand new car
