Spike to 7 KR
#41
While the 3.4 pulley did get rid of your KR, that was not your issue IMO. If you had no KR with the 3.3 if you did a pull from like lets say a stop to like 100, but you had it from a 30 roll and then it immediately went away, thats a tune issue. Invest in a tuner and tune your car. Obviously the AE is off since it only happens under certain conditions. A good tune will completely correct this issue IMO.
What is happening is you are at low RPM and go WOT and it jumps to full boost but the PCM didn't give you enough fuel, so it gets 7* of KR right then, and then you have enough fuel so your KR goes away. Set it so it sprays a little more fuel under those conditions and you will have no KR. Thats the best way I can think to explain it anyways.

You may be onto something Shawn. In fact it IS doing exactly as you stated. No KR if I take off from a stop but if I goose it at 30 mph, I get instant KR to 10*.
Temperature has nothing to do with it.
Maybe I do need those larger injectors.........or Todd, could it be as Shawn indicates simply a reprogram :?: Can INTENSE do this without new injectors.
If I do switch injectors, will the stock fuel rail adapt :?:

Gosh, I'm no expert, but I don't think overall fuel VOLUME is the issue here - only fuel delivery timing. If you're not outflowing your injectors in the higher rpm'* going WOT, I can't imagine it'* an issue down low. I'd vote for getting it tuned.

Intense can probably try and tune a pcm for you. However, they would be able to make it better with the more scan files you send them. That way they can see how the car is reacting to all the variables it sees when you start it up and drive.
Tuning with a real tuner or having Intense tune your car in person is the best two ways I can think of to get the best possible tune in it.
You invested in the car
You invested in exhaust
You invested in an LSD
You invested in SLP'*
You invested in the Gen V and all the goodies.
What is your reasoning for not wanting a tuner where you can program for mileage and or power and or other various things within minutes? It seems like a simple answer to many of the problems you have been having.

So I disconnected the WSS again and went out for a burn.
Wow, either the PCM is still learning......haven't quite been through 1/3 tank of fuel.....or the spinning tires were creating the KR.
Too darn much power now. It'* darn right scary in town. The torque is incredible.
Even with three adults in the car it lurches and twists pulling to the left then both tires break free and spin wildly up to red line.
.....and the noise. It'* so loud now that half the town turn their outside lights on when I bullet past with the whining sound of Magnaflow trumpeting out the cow bells.

Drove it again today with the WSS connected and same thing.
No KR if under constant accelleration but and sudden variations in throttle will display up to 14 KR then it tapers off within a few seconds back to 0.
Yes, I have to agree that it is a tuning issue. :(

I'm not sure the exact cause, hitting 14 degrees of KR... Soon you won't have to worry about KR if you continue to go a "couple seconds" with that much KR. You'll be ordering a long block.
I've noticed a trend Paul... the KR started off smaller and is building as the posts continue. It'* time to take action or soon you will have larger issues.
