If you have basic mechanical skills, it is a breeze. You just have to unplug your battery, get your airbox out of the way, or whatever is covering the PCM, and unplug the old PCM, and put in the new one. You should get sent instructions on how to do it.

With my new PCM after installation, the engine idled kinda high for a while, but after driving for a while, everything went back to normal.

You will also need a CASE learn from a GM dealer -should not cost more than $25 -if dealer wants more call around to other GM dealers ask).

Not necessarily. In the earlier years the CASE learn is not needed.

Depending on what you year you have installation is a bit different but remains very menial. I would say it'* worth the money, makes the car that much more fun to drive.

Are there any aftermarket PCM'* for 92-95'* out there? Is it in the same spot, below the stock air box? Would I have to order one custom? I would appreciate more info.
