Ok..either way you go. Remember the newbie mistakes.
1. The hole is the right diameter, but the depth is too shallow 2. The flip up center console doesn't easily detach from the console 3. Will your knee hit the gauge 4. Do you need room for more gauges |
On the subject of pulleys. With the H2O Meth system coming in ahead of the rockers/cam now, I'm considering picking up a 2.5, 2.4, and 2.3 pulley. Won't do jack without scantool data of course.
What are thoughts on size that I'll be able to use assuming the MAF controlled system (same system Bullet's installing right now) gets installed? I'll be using a 50/50 mix of meth/water. Note: I'm not doing this until the upgraded breaks go in. |
You are a dangerous man...lol
How does that system inject? Do you need to tap the TB? |
Yes. It taps right into the throttle body. I'm not using a spacer like Bullet is. Bill W reccomended and I am going with his judgement going right into the TB.
|
Do you have a spare?
|
I will before I add the system.
I'm looking around for a spare supercharger as well since I still plan on the mild porting and polishing. |
Morty... not to pull this off topic. However since your trans is here... you had a crunching/scraping sound on turns when I was there. The other member in Tampa mentions this as well.
If you ever get the car back (seems like it's been a long time :P ) check for that sound. I'm interested if that was your sign of something bad and you didn't hop on finding the problem before it found you. |
Day 3 of no boost... Last night I had a dream about that flying toasters screensaver.. only there were flying transmissions. I think I'm losing it!
Boostyboy, I've been giving that some thought too (re: crunching noise). For awhile I was thinking that sound was coming from whichever wheel I was turning towards, but on Saturday I realized it was only coming from the right wheel side. Annalisa also mentioned something to me last night as well.. I chirped the tires a moment Friday evening while she was standing on the driver's side of the car and she said my Driver's side front wheel didn't cut loose. I guess the cues were there and I didn't even realize it. |
Morty, considering what you have on your list, you're not going to make it in time for WCBF. You'll have far too many bugs to work out.
You better prioritize that list by what you MUST get done before summer, and save the rest for winter. |
