I think its the Spectre intake kit that they're talking about.Thats how I did my intake. Its $39.99 and stuck it with a RX-4750 K and N filter. I'm addicted to that intake sound.

Here'* my old one. It'* a 1995 as well. My stepdad may be getting rid of the car soon so I might be able to demod the intake and sell it if you are interested. The filter has some rub marks from the radiator hose and vacuum lines underneath it and it probably needs recharging. This is all dependent on me finding the original airbox... I wonder where it is...

Here is the setup I am running from Autozone. It is the Spectre setup. This is all I can afford right now and it works fine.

Blownville..that is exactly what I want to the last dot. Can you possibly give me a model number on that intake pipe? And will the K&N Filter previously listed work with it?

The Spectra PN is 8208 for the kit and I bought an extra piece or two. Check out their site below. Go into 04 Modular air intake components and look at the 3" chrome intake tube. I am not sure which other pieces I bought to get the length and angle on mine. The K&N should fit although I am not certain on the size of the opening on the K&N.

Hey not a problem but one thing that I didn't mention is that your TB may be bigger than mine. I think it is 3.5" in diameter where mine is 3". There are reducers in the same area with the intake kit.

Michael,
Min is exactly like Blownville.
If you notice, the pipe has sections on it that are removable. The beauty is no cutting necessary. The inside of the pipe is smooth, no rough parts at all, and you can't feel the sections. This promotes air flow.
This pipe is new. It'* a different design that remains cool to the touch, even on the hottest day and engine temp.
I removed one of the section on the straight piece, and the RX4750 fits right on!
I widened out the hole on the filter, and the IAT slipped right in there.
Spectre has a rubber reducer within the kit that adapts from the pipe to the intake. You may need to measure yours to be sure.

Spectre also makes a heat shield that would bolt right to the pipe. I wish I bought two, I only bought one and formed some sheet metal to make the filter somewhat enclosed. The only thing you want is cold air getting in, not hot engine air.
Oh, the sound is sweet. My car sucks in the air, and whines so much, I want to give it some cheese.

Edit: Just found the link. I think this contains the part numbers:
The end of the topic appears that I was going to exchange it, but after talking to the Performance guys where I bought it, they convinced me it always remains cool, and they were right. It works awesome!

I actually had to put mine into the hole in the tube. There are 2 or 3 holes in the end by my filter that have plastic plugs in them. I just put the IAT in there and it fit perfect.
