Rebuild the fuel injectors or buy new ones? New ones are like $47 each and a rebuild is $24 and according to will the fuel system is "amazing" so should it keep up with 400hp?

Couple of places that do balancing and cleaning of injectors.

http://www.rceng.com/service.htm

http://www.injector.com/

I used to have another place that I had talked to about having my injectors cleaned and balanced but I can't find their site anymore

Thanks for the links. I'm still curious if I should rebuild or replace. The info I'd get back from the rebuild would tell me but if anyone knows before I spend $...

Might be worth the rebuild just so you can have the injectors balanced so that they all have the exact same flow charecteristics.

Brakes are overrated, you just wanna go fast right?

Your car sounds sweet, I can't wait to hear the dyno numbers.

WHOOOHOOO its finally out! Only like 2 months behind but like I said I'd rather be late than rush. Pics are updated at my site (check signature). Can't wait to start digging into it. It was a bit of a pain to remove but not horrible. First off the brackets used to remove the engine are weak and scared the crap out of me. Notice the pic "Why its wrong" and how the brace bent so far it was about to break the valve cover. The tricky parts were clearing the compressor on the driver side and the master cylinder had to be removed. The ac lines on the passenger side hung up on the motor mount a little but could be shoved aside firm but gently. I gotta eat now but check out the pics.

Way to go Doc! I'll try to give you a jingle Monday night. This'll be almost as much fun to watch as it would be to do it!

Well today was the first day of the tear down. I don't have all the tools I need yet so I was halted by a sticky intake manifold. To those of you who haven't been inside these things yet its amazing...109k HARD miles on it and sure there is carbon (naturally) but everything so far looks in great condition. The worst I saw so far (I knew about the leaky supercharger) was the supercharger gasket between it and the intake was cracked in half somehow, may have been during removal. It looked good and clean but cracked very easily when I picked it up. So far there isn't any tricky parts other than this damn intake manifold. Its sticking like its bolted down but I checked everything and it should be free. I don't have a rubber mallet or a good pry bar but tomorrow I will . We'll see if thats the problem. I'm excited to look at the pistons and see what shape they're in, I'm expecting pretty good. I just need to keep track of all the nuts and bolts! Questions?
