One car or not, with that as our only data point, are you willing to risk the money to be the next victim or success? When the FWI from INTENSE already has such a good rep here and a HUGE install base?

I do not know for sure, however, during the r&d phase of the JMB intake the pipe appeared to be low-quality steel tubing (the wed site say aluminIZED, not aluminum), and i believe that the ADTR intake is aluminum.

The FWI from INTENSE does work beautifully. it is the way to go as far as function and price. Appearance wise it is dog a$$ ugly for show cars or anyone wanting the "bling" under thier hood. Personally I am fond of mandrel bent, polished aluminium. what little heat soak there is would be offset buy the cold air rushing in. But it is a bi#@h to keep polished and spotless.

I have absolutely no qualms about the INTENSE tube. I was just hoping for performance with cosmetics. After all, we're PONTIAC enthusiasts, right!! :P
I guess I'll have to continue my plan to make my own FWI that actually is powdercoated aluminum.

The tubing is smoother than it appears in Haro'* picture, is it perfectly smooth? No. Is it better than other solutions out there? It sure is.
What you don't see is the thickness and ability to keep the air from being heated.
A metal product under the hood will only heatsoak unless you insulate it well.
No matter how you go about it, the cooler the air you can get to the motor the more power you will be able to make.
Swifty..your comment about Intense hype dying seems a little off color to me. I don't see hype, questions were asked and people suggested what we currently believe is the best solution
