The only car that ever ran a JMB intake here had horrible results.

Until someone convinces us that it'* superior in any way to the INTENSE FWI, I don't think you'll be seeing any buyers.

And compare the price of the Thrasher to the INTENSE. No-brainer there.

oh ok, i have heard great results from the jmb in the w body crowd but i wasnt aware that they didnt perform well for the bonnevilles. I suggested the thrasher because i remembered some guys modifying the w body thrasher intake for the bonnevilles. The intense fwi is a cheaper way to go for sure.

Cheaper, flows better, delivers more laminar flow increasing velocity, and pulls the air from a cooler source.

:no brainer:

This is for the 00 and newer, way to go for sure.

92-99 should install some extra splash shielding (custom).

I'm sure if you were anal about intake temps and whatnot, the FWI would be better (and cheaper). But the TEP CAI does the job and it looks great. IMO it'* one of the best looking CAI'* out there.

Isn't a smooth walled intake tube always better than corrugated?

Mad KR.

Smooth? Yes. That'* where the FWI excels over the thrasher. I'd love to see the TEP CAI use something like the INTENSE smooth inner wall tubing as the union to the TB. But at the same time, I agree it'* a damn good looking unit.
