And I'll try to get the intstructions up in Techinfo later today. I'll post here when it'* done. I need some time to edit it before I post it.
i got all the stuff i need to make it. LOL just got back from home depot. man, they got some great stuff
i'll be making mine tonight. hope u don't mind that i'm copying you, it just looks soo good. thanks for the ideas!!!
I have a 92 buick park avenue. I did have the white colored cover but i got a black one from a 93. I had to modify it slightly to make the little screw fit. It would be great if you have the time to make one for me. Just name your price!
Can you email me a pic of the cover, preferable in the engine bay? And what City do you live in? Don't count on much more than ideas, though. Between my job, kids, and car, I don't have alot of time. My little bits of spare time are spent here.
I ordered new covers for my engine. Mine were to bad for me to try and fix. Most of the clips were half missing and the main cover has developed a curve over the years. Fair warning to anyone who orders them thru www.gmpartsdirect.com, they are a speacial ordered item and will take longer to get than most other parts. At least they were cheap so I can deal with the waiting.
I just finished my series 1 cover. it looks bad ***. thanks for the ideas will. i just put it on this morning and it looks soo good. took me a while to make it thou. i recomend not using a dremel. lol it took me for ever. i prolly coulda smothed out the lines a bit more, but i was soo anxious to put the mesh in and put it on the car. thanks again it'* beutiful.
i don't have a digital camera
or a scanner. sry. i want to post pics. soo bad but i can't. the one friend of mine that has one is up in michigan right now. maybe when he gets back i can post some. i'm sry.
