Ty, I'd be really curious to see what those looked like.

I've got stage 1 of the project well underway. I've got some rectangular holes cut in my SC Series1 cover (4 of them) and the screen cut. Just need to repaint the cover now and adhere the screening to the underside. I should have pics up late tomorrow of my new 'breathable' cover. It'* already looking pretty sharp, and should be very functional.

Ok, here'* the first step! Came out pretty cool. To give credit where credit is due, some GP guy did this originally to a Series 2 SC cover. I got the original pic and instructions from the Rat.

This should keep it looking good AND a bit cooler. Ready for the cooling duct now

Enjoy!

Hmhh do you have a multimeter or any other type of remote temp reader? It would be cool to get some hard data for what is really going on under the hood. You could do a before and after and see if there was any real drop in underhood temp. If you could rig something up to measure the real surface temp of the SC that would be cool too.

Will would you like to post how you did it? Maybe in the Techinfo area of the site?

I've already taken temp readings for before. That'* what prompted me to do it!
I'll post the info on doing it on my website and link to it from Techinfo. After temp readings to come. I expect a much bigger difference after the ducting is done.

Cool stuff. Use a heat temp gun to measure it. I think I will help but a turbo setup would be better for you Will........ :P Let'* eliminate the whole hot Eaton */C thing and go giant intercooler with ADTR in the front. I have a ADTR intercooler on my wall.... I have a pic, I will post it if you want.
