Well, I know the '96 models with the L36 had the plain old 4T60E, just like us. And from the pictures I've seen, the PCMs look the same. I know this still doesn't help the supercharged '96s, but maybe we could get Intense to investigate the H-body PCM from '96 to help all the SE/SSE owners.

If you want to know more about it, check out DHP'* site.
www.digitalhorsepowerinc.com/

I know you can buy the powertuner through ZZP or 3800performance.

I also heard back from Rob at DHP. He said that they can burn a PCM for the '96, but it would have to be custom and won't have a core charge associated with it. $350 for the PCM burn.

I have a DHP PCM in my 96 SSEi. I love it. I was told the 96'* do not have as much memory to put in all the mods that the GP owners can get. That is why they don't do much with the 96 and the only reason they had a 96 SSEi made up was that 1 of the programmers has a 96 SSEi. I have actually had the computer in the car since 2003. Mine was considered a prototype since it was only the 2nd in existence. They changed the fuel tables, changed the downshift points, and eliminated the speed governor if my memory serves me correct. My Bonne will shift into 1st as high up as 42 mph instead of the 30 mph stock. I have only had the car up to 114 mph so I am not sure about the speed governor removal. It was like night and day after I put the PCM in as far as how it pulled. I have not ran it at the track though since the PCM so I am not sure how much of a gain there really was.
