i pulled all teh push rods and most of them are badly worn down, so i went and got a low miles core 3800 sries II for free and ive pulled the push rods from it and they look great. so the rockers and pushrods will be switched over.
should i continue to tear down to lifters ? or is the push rods being worn down the problem ?
but there is an oiling problem on the top end.
thanks

My assumption is either pressure is low causing the issue or the lifters are that gunked up that they aren't supplying oil. Since you have them, I'd replace them. If they don't work, then I think you will be looking for an engine soon.
Have you owned this car long ?

Yep, new cam time. I have two good stock cams from a series2 L67 if your in need of one. To change it you will need a new harmonic balancer bolt, a cam bolt, a timing chain cover gasket, and I would suggest very strongly a new tensioner. Changing a cam is easy if the engine is out of the car, if it'* still in the car you will need to lower it to slide the cam out the wheel well.
