It'* not a direct swap like you are hoping. You may as well swap in a Series 2 supercharged to open up your aftermarket and OBD 2 options, as you are going to be doing about the same amount of work.

95 is a very bad year, thanks to OBD 1.5, Series 1 supercharged, etc. This swap requires quite a bit of mapping and planning

I am not sure what you mean by 'play' in the transmission, but it could be issues with relatively simple solutions.

1994-1995 was the testing years for OBD 1.5 prior to the release of OBD 2 for 1996 and newer production years.

When I put the car into gear it pops like there is a bad CV axle but the axles are good. Also when taking off from a stop if I get on it a little bit the car shimmys back and forth in the front like a bad axle. I have not pulled the axles to check them completely but I put the car into neutral and grabbed them and there is no play and no ripped boots.

Thanks everyone for your help! This is what I needed to know and I agree with the whole Series 2 thing as well. I know lots of Feiro people put the series 2 in there cars so info on wiring and what not would make installing them much easier. Well I dont think this is something im going to try to do anytime soon thats for sure. If it was more of a direct swap I would do that in a hart beat. Thanks again!

Yeah I wouldn't swap that without taking the wiring harness, the computer, and the gauge cluster with it, then if doing all of that you may as well move to a Series 2.
