Probably good advice to swap nylon gear while the engine is out. Probably not related to the misfire that started in an engine that has just been resealed and not tampered with otherwise.
How'* fuel pressure and regulator?
Does the car drive? Has it driven far since it got its engine back?
How many miles on the engine (besides the new seals)?

I drove the engine after the re-sealing only about 2km, because a lot still needs to be done, it takes on clean gas and pulls through very well, only these misfires in idle. The engine is only re-sealed were nothing else, except the chain tensioner is also new.
Fuel pressure is right, the controller is also fine.

I have an 1989 Buick Electra with the 3.8 engine. The Magnavox coil pack is one of the weak link with the ignition. I upgraded coil with the 3 coil pack from u pull it.
