Lounge For casual talk about things unrelated to General Motors. In other words, off-topic stuff. And anything else that does not fit Section Description.

Yep...I'm a moron.

Yeah...this is definitely an ordeal. Good thing is that his insurance just might take care of it...but his insurance is going to go up, so I've got to take care of that...and also, I've got a court date, the day before my birthday...here in Wilmington. So yeah...this is definitely a situation.

Any advice on what to use in court?

A sincere admission of guilt and puppy dog eyes.
That'* about the only thing that is going to help you, and that won't help much.

No offense, but I don't think a lawyer is going to do anything for him but cost him even more money.

Uncle you never met, huh? Wow John, you really make a great first impression.
I guess I'll be Mr. Obvious here, didn't it cross your mind to let off the throttle when it started to break loose?

Well... a buddy of mine once used "I sneezed and my foot slipped off the brake and onto the gas..." as an excuse..... and it worked. Simular situation except it was his twin turbo supra and he rear ended someone.
