If you ever question a relay. Jumper the hot wire and you will know instantly if your relay is good or bad. One of the things I have in the hosue is a 12V power supply. Used for many of the little things when working on the arcade games, but also very useful in working with LED'*, relays etc. You can use a meter to check the relay while triggering it and letting it sit at rest.

And lastly, which wouldn't have helped you if the year was off, but many local librarys have FSM'* and wiring diagrams. Learned that last one right here on the forum a couple years back. thumbup2

I wanted to test the relay like that, but guess what wasn't on the relay, a diagram.
