Just changed the oil. It was rather dark. I also changed the filter. OK, what a PITA that was. I couldn't get to it from the underside. The axle is in the way. So had to get it from above. Still a PITA.

Then I figure I better check the air filter. What'* wrong here?

Really? No filter? Called my wife and asked her to pick one up seeing she is out shopping right now.

All she'* doing is grumbling that this truck is costing so much money. Really? Lets compare. This truck cost $1000, the $183 for tax, title, plates. Another $5 to patch the tank. Still not sure if it'* good, might replace the tank. $120 if I do. Oil and filter, $30. Then I got gas. So right now a little over $1200. Now, should I get in to your truck? No!

It'* already got the air filter delete mod? Now you just need to remove the throttle body screen and slap a turbonator on there and you will be getting crazy gas mileage.

Doesn't look like a restrictive air filter. Could you read the brand name on it? lol

Likely the truck will cost a ton in aggrevation and small parts. And yet, comparing it to a newer one, it'll still be lower in cost.
