Lounge For casual talk about things unrelated to General Motors. In other words, off-topic stuff. And anything else that does not fit Section Description.

What funds those mods??

you must have one hell of a *** groove worked into some city truck seat somewhere and the coffee is waiting for you at the exact six times a day at the local coffee shop isn't it? (lol so many of my friends are city workers so I have a pretty good idea generally how it is)

Do you know anything about overclocking the AMD T-Bird?? I am using a SiS 735 chipset
Ensure you have some high quality RAM in there, and crank you your FSB. Slowly, 1 or 2 Mhz at a time, and see what runs most stable for you. And also which runs coolest.

I have a Dual 1Ghz machine @ 1.1Ghz. Not a big increase, but I can't adjust my FSB and PCI/AGP slot frequencies seperately.
I can't crank the FSB above 133 MHZ which is what the chip is rated for
Stop living by the rules! lol

Mines rated at 133, I run it at 144 and evertying runs beautifully.

But if your BIOS won't let you crank up your FSB, then there'* not much you can do.
Like I said, can't. Can’t is a contraction for cannot. it implies not being able to do said action. It also implies that my MB is a cheap POS, after the money I spent on a Volcano 7+ to keep the thing a bit cooler, i would love to crank up the FSB...
You said you CANNOT do it because the chip is rated at a max of 133Mhz! NOT because the POS mobo you bought can't O/C.
