oh, lol

Do you know anything about overclocking the AMD T-Bird?? I am using a SiS 735 chipset
Ensure you have some high quality RAM in there, and crank you your FSB. Slowly, 1 or 2 Mhz at a time, and see what runs most stable for you. And also which runs coolest.

I have a Dual 1Ghz machine @ 1.1Ghz. Not a big increase, but I can't adjust my FSB and PCI/AGP slot frequencies seperately.

The AMD T-Bird isn't a good one to overclock. The core gets too hot. Also, I don't hear too much about overclocking on SiS chipsets. The NForce2 and KT400 are good ones to overclock, using a AMD Throughbred core.

Just for the heck of it, look in your BIOS to see if you can change the FSB. If not, your board won't let you change it.

I can't crank the FSB above 133 MHZ which is what the chip is rated for
Stop living by the rules! lol

Mines rated at 133, I run it at 144 and evertying runs beautifully.

But if your BIOS won't let you crank up your FSB, then there'* not much you can do.
