Ahhh....summer solstice....oh yeah, and my Birthday!! 
Hmmm....summer....hot day when all (listens and looks behind me) hotties come out 
I can hang out and do stuff around the house OUTSIDE! FIREWORKS time is soon!!

High electric bills,
Even higher humidity,
Love bugs are finally gone, at least until August or September,
Less work outside, since it'* too dad-blamed hot now,
Less work on the car for same reason, plus you can't touch the metal parts on the car or you'll get burned,
Gators are out every day and night now,
Start of the regular summer rains...hopefully...
and when the lake rises again, early morning canoe jaunts on weekends,
switch to drinking more light beers and ales, they go down easier,
wearing shoes only when I absolutely have to...

Hot, hot, hot! Gotta have a/c because it'* too damned hot to do anything outside. You have to do stuff early in the am or later in the evening.
Love the longer sunlight. Grilling steaks. Today is my brothers birthday (it means alot because he almost died last June).

Same as lash (plus about 20* to 30* hotter, but minus the gators and the lake comments...oh, and I guess my canoe gets harder for me to paddle through the desert sands)

Sweating my arse off at work in my forklift while putting up with araeholes all day long
