Long days, fantastic nights. Long weekends, vacations, tennis, bike riding, clean cars

to me it means time to thrash on the car to get the mods done that you couldn't in the winter. Road construction and skinny dipping in the pool with your GF

ha, I wish I could get my wife to do yard work. I have to help with housework, but you think I could get her to mow the lawn once in a while, ha!

Summer means classic cars and car shows, and the top down (or the sunroof open)!

Good:
Cars Stay CLEAN
Grillin' Out!
No heating bill
No need to put on massive amounts of clothing JUST to go outside.

Bad:
TONS of bugs. Including ones I'm allergic to.
The really hot days just make me wish I was dead.

Ugly:
Air is not as dense and car run slower
Me living in hawaii for 14 years really doesn't make me look forward to summer, but once you experience a winter here, you'll want nothing BUT summer.

And here I am planning on moving to FL. I must be out of my MIND.

And add in just about everyone else'* answers, they all work too.

Pretty much took the words out my mouth. I hate flys and mosquitos, plus I live in a wooded area of the city so there are even more in my neighborhood

The beach as many times as possible
BYOB BBQs
admiring females
amazing night weather
pools
actually wanting to do something when I get off work
LOTS of riding (see link in sig) with trips to NYC
working on cars alot more since it'* nice out
white Ts and jeans all the time
not wanting to go to sleep because it'* such a waste of time when it'* nice out
fireworks
meeting new people
tons of b-day parties
And pretty much everything in Will Smiths song 'Summer Time'. (Can't help it, I'm from Philly)

Pretty much all of this:

Quote:
Summertime is finally here
That old ball park man is back in gear
Out on 49, man I can see the lights
School'* out the nights roll in
Man, just like a long lost friend
You ain't seen in a while
You can't help but smile.

And it'* two bare feet on the dashboard
Young love in an old Ford
Cheap Shades, a tattoo and a Yoo-Hoo, bottle on the floorboard
Perfect song on the radio
Sing along because it'* one we know
It'* a smile
It'* a kiss
It'* a sip of wine
It'* summertime
Sweet summertime.

Temperature says '93
Down at the deposit and guarantee
But that swimming hole
It'* nice and cold
BikINI bottoms underneath
But the boys heart still skip a beat
When them girls shimmy off
Them old cut-offs

And it'* two bare feet on the dashboard
Young love in an old Ford
Cheap Shades, a tattoo and a Yoo-Hoo, bottle on the floorboard
Perfect song on the radio
Sing along because it'* one we know
It'* a smile
It'* a kiss
It'* a sip of wine
It'* summertime
Sweet summertime.

The more things change
The more they stay the same
Don't matter how old you are
When you know what I'm talking 'bout
Yeah baby, when you got.

Two bare feet on the dashboard
Young love in an old Ford
Cheap Shades, a tattoo and a Yoo-Hoo, bottle rollin on the floorboard
Perfect song on the radio
Sing along because it'* one we know
It'* a smile
It'* a kiss
It'* a sip of wine
It'* summertime
Sweet summertime....
