Actually it'* company policy. All employees must park so far out, usually marked by a yellow line. If you watch at most Lowe'* the parking spaces are white except for one line all the way across the lot which is yellow. That technically marks where employees can park.

Interesting. The Lowe'* in Florida didn't have that. Probably because the employees parked on the side, kinda like Wal-Mart.

Its funny that you mention that about rules company wide. Back when I was at Lowes here, I would run ICB'* between 5 different stores in NY and PA. Each and every store seemed to have its own little set of modded "rules". Every store I went to, I never wore my vest. But the parking lot rule seems to be corporate wide, but modded at each store level.
