Yep, that'* what I'm talking about. It'* not that Vista is HORRIBLE, it'* an alright operating system, I just prefer XP. I just don't like the fact that it'* such a resource hog, and I haven't experienced too many compatibility issued myself yet. Now, if you're running 2GB+ of RAM, and some form a of a high end dual core processor, you're pretty much set. I've got an AMD Turion 64 x2 TL-52 (if I remember correctly), and an Nvidia GeForce Go 6150 graphics card, but only 1 GB of RAM. I can run CS:* no problem with this system, and granted that notebooks of this price range are NOT gaming systems, I can run some pretty serious games that my 3 yr old desktop (P4 2.8, 2 GB RAM, XP, Older 256mb Nvidia GFX) won't even try. I just need to bump that memory up.
