A few months ago i replaced the altrinator. This last weekend I put in a new tranny pump. There is AGAIN, something wrong! This time I sarted to loose my gauges, if I pushed more than a quarter way down on the gas it would make some "clunking noises" and not respond! Anyone had a problem like this? I'm going to try to go to a dealership and get someone professonal to look at it. I am to the point that I am going to get something more reliable and fewer miles! HELP!

Sounds like you may have a Fouled plug! I had the same thing happen before, i ran fine as long as i wasnt stepping to hard on the pedal. If i stepped too hard, i had the clunking sounds and no GO at all. I thought for sure it was my transmission, but when i got it diagnosed it was just a fouled plug . I got both replaced and woila, all better. (It was a Bosch platinum that fouled).

Hopefully thats all it is for you!

Geez. Save up for a DP alt, John. That rear bearing failure on the stock and replacement alternators sucks.

I know we've talked about it before... There are quite a few places that sell remanufactured alternators that have poor quality control.
