Default Ok, this is pissing me off.

The top of my LIM is full of oil again because this STUPID PCV tube that goes to the valve over is leaking oil. It needs a gasket, but for some reason no one seems to know what it needs! IT is very insecurely sitting in there right now. I had my engine basically spotless so that i could see if i could find any leaks or anything, and yeah...i found it. Here are some pics I took about 15 mins ago.

Clean it and put some RTV around it. 'Tis what I would do if I couldn't find a gasket.

Ok...RTV, not very familiar with RTV.

And hah, I don't think this affects anything Les. Its just a minor annoyance thats making my spotless engine dirty.

Default more than you wanted to know

Room
Temperature
Vulcanizing

Vulcanizing is the process of increasing the strength and resilience of rubber by adding heat, pressure, and chemicals such as sulfur. A compound treated by vulcanization tends to form a strong bond.

Aren't these grommets available from the aftermarket?

Default oil

If you narrowed it down to a grommet, Advance has a help isle with a large variety for our cars sometimes kept near the filters. Also it couldn't be much at a stealership.
