I am correct with GM stating that our fuel tanks are 18 gallons correct?
Because when I swapped my fuel pump. I was able to easily lift and walk around with my gas tank in one arm... I then filled to the top and had gotten 17.4 gallons in. Which makes sense for having almost nothing in the tank when doing the fuel pump.

That would be an easy way to tell if the pump calibrations are off.
My tank holds over 18 gallons easily. You guy'* are'nt factoring in the fact the tube sits "in" the tank. About an 1" 1/2 bellow the top of the tank. And if you fill up like me, to the top of the neck, your gonna force the tank to fill to the top. I've put in over 20 gallons a few times. And being as i work in my car and travel from hear to Cali every 2 month'*, you can't blame it on the gas station.
