It won't be until I'm an E-2 (I won't even go to BMT till late March) and half my paycheck (housing and food provided by military) will go to payments and insurance but I'd say that'* totally worth it for a $36000 car that'* been known to hit 60 in 4.7 seconds (car and driver mag) in stock form. Not to mention the upper 300 to lower 400 hp the engines can achieve with chips and tuning alone.
So I know it'* not a bonneville but what do yall think?

There are alot of lower than 30-40k $ choices in the 400Hp range now. Even Hyundai has hit 375Hp for just over 20k. Not a big fan of BMW. You paying alot of the money for status, badging. A BM'ers going to make you pay throughout it'* life. And a poor resale for midlife car. For less money you could really hook up on a new generation of American muscle cars, fully optioned out. For 25% more money/payment, you have the DTS-V in sight. With Real luxury, and Real Power. 550Hp Caddy squeezed out of a borrowed LS2. And room to actually "date" a girl in your car.
