pda is, at best, inappropriate, and at worst, rude and hurtful. and heres the kicker: its unnecessary.
how about this scenario.
theres a guy who just broke up with his fiancee. hes hurtin. he happens to be in a public place and hes working on getting over it. you walk near him, making out with your gf. how much pain have you just caused him? dont you owe it to him, this stranger that youve never met, to not cause him pain unduly? or remind him of pain hes almost forgotten?
pda is unnecessary and potentially painful.
how about this scenario.
