This particular girl said her dream was to experience a romantic dinner and evening of fun; she had never done so and her former husband never took her anywhere, except football or baseball games.
So, I promised her an unforgetable romantic experience; the date details are as follows:
1. Pick her up in my buddy'* Dodge Viper.

5. Take her home around 3:00 am.

Did not hear from her for two days...So I called to see if she was okay...she thanks me for all the fun and experience...she relays to me that her sister and brother told her that no man would do anything like taht unless he expected anything in return. That she is confused and overwhelmed. I told her both of them were just plain idiots. By the way, I have been seeing her for 3 months prior to this event....so, I tell her to let me know when she is ready for a serious relationship and to be treated like a lady...otherwise, I am done.
Did not hear from her for about 6 months...she shared that she dated other people and that it was not the same and that her siblings were wrong...that she would like to see me again...I told her too bad it took her so long to figure it out...that friendships and relationships are not like shoes that you can just go out there and try to see if they fit and look good. So...I keep looking...

Yup!! Its all good. Every once in a while we do couple stuff, but by the time we both get home from work, were beat tired and dont want to do anything anyways. and the weekends? Pffft Bonne time

ssei1995- that sounded like a perfectly lovely date. She is an idiot. Lacks maturity. Besides, most women decide if they are going to sleep with you at some point usually within the first 60 minutes of being out with you. Unless you act like a doofus and then forget it.

No...I acted and was a complete gentleman...
she is one of the types that feels that she needs to be enpowered at all times...she did not like that I make it a rule that I open the door for her.
She also beleived that flowers are only for those that are engaged...
Just to **** her off...even after we were not seeing each other, I continued sending her a gift for her birthday, Christmas and Valentine'*...it just made her go nuts, and especially when the guy she dated for sometime, forgot her birthday...when she was in the hospital for a broken leg, I sent her flowers and a card, he did not and after he saw what I did, he ran to get her flowers...
He told a friend of her'* that if he had to chance to meet me, he was going to kick my butt... ...her friend told her that if he wanted to join her in the hospital, and she would be happy to oblige and call me over....

If what you say is factual then you are a gem to behold!! Men like you are far and few to find. I don't require the door be held open for me but I sure do appreciate when it is held for me. I still like a chivalrous man. Just because some women don't like it doesn't mean all women feel the same. My motto is "Treat me good, I'll treat you better. Treat me bad, I'll treat you worse!" Basically, the way you treat me is how I will treat you and then some for good measure. I do think sending her things after she is involved with someone else is a no-no (how would you feel if it was YOUR gf getting gifts?).
