yeah we just have to email it over to a manager.... applying for a position within the company that is on the highest "paygrade" except for senior management. As long as my resume gets accepted...I am quite good in interviews as I have never NOT got offered a job I went for an interview for.

Take great care with any cover letter as well as your presentation of your qualifications and experience. Make sure you have no spelling errors or errors in grammar. Make sure that the organization of your materials is logical. I did a lot of hiring and I would routinely toss applications with errors, reasoning that if an applicant didn't care enough to proofread something as important as his own application, or was unable to communicate clearly in a cover letter seeking a job, then I didn't want them representing our organization in a similar manner.
