ONE page Hans. If you want them to take the time to read it, ONE page, and nothing too fancy. Bold is ok, italics is a no-no.
When I read resumes, I'm turned off by 2 pagers instantly. Keep it short, powerful, and to the point. Use common buzzwords. Particularly things like TEAMWORK and DEDICATED.

Keep the 1" margins all around... looks better and clean, don't try and cheat and cram in stuff by reducing them.

I am going aganist people with 4 years of expierence in the same position, big college degrees, etc, but I own at my job flat out, so I hope I have a chance..

I was gonne say, keep it to one page. Average attention payed to a resume is 10-30 seconds. 2 pages unless going for a very tech, business mgr, or GM, is a no no.

Unless it'* a technical job, keep it to one page. Especially if you have little experience.
Use the white space around the perimeter to your advantage.
Use a heavier weight paper.
Use punctuation consistently.
Use verb tenses properly.
Customize your objective to the company'* name that you're wanting to work for.

I personally stick to white paper, Times New Roman. Done with.
