My new toy
Seeing everyones views on all this makes me think, and wonder who i shouldn't **** off :P
But in my opinion, if the guy is has the balls to walk into another'* house, he should know and he better be prepared, and ready for me chasing him out with sword drawn, so to speak.
Nobody that i don't know should be aloud in my house, and ill use whatever means necessary to get that threat away from my little sister and mother.

But if they're LEAVING, you don't have the right to shoot them in the back.
Regardless of what they did, revenge won't save you from prison. If they're leaving, and their back is to you, the threat is gone.

Here'* most of the family home defense team... My uncles both have .40 Smith and Wessons as their defense. I currently have a 9x18 Makarov close but plan to have something better in the future. There'* also a lever action .44 Mag sitting in my closet...

I personally never grew up shooting much. Lived in the middle of nowhere and didnt have to worry about neighbors. I knew them all. Now I have joined the national guard, been deployed, now moved to large city for college. Had a dog in the house. Found out that dogs are too stupid and friendly to be relied upon for security.
I will always own a gun. Here in Omaha people are shot every day. And on a college kid income I get stuck living in shitty neighborhoods. Having a .45 in the house is real peace of mind. If you can live somewhere where violence isnt needed then do.
There are times where violence is the answer. It shouldnt happen in a residential neighborhood but it does. Personally if someone breaks into my house he'* probably gonna take two to the chest. Hopefully he doesnt fall outside the door. Or at least in the kitchen so he doesnt stain the carpet.
