I was gonna say bus speed or voltage settings were off. Check those out.

also check you multiplier

EI.. if its at 8X and its needs to be at 10X or something... every bios is a little diffrent setup so its hard to see what you see, and iv been search ing on google for 20min and cant find any pics of the Biox, and Giga-bytes website deosn;t support it anymore.

posting from roommates computer, mine doesnt even boot anymore...

FSB was set at 100, with options being 100, 133, 166 and 200 i think...

i changed it to 200, saved and rebooted, nothing for like 30 seconds and then it booted again... i went into the bios again and had changed to 166, so i changed it to 200 again and saved and rebooted...

now it doesnt even get to the bios screen as the monitors dont recognized a signal

i got bandits cell just waiting for him to call me back

Unplug the PC, and pull the battery off of your motherboard and let it reset itself for a few mins. Try that.

No, the updates are permanantely written to the BIOS chip.

if that the right Model Number you gave me then it shoudl have and option for 266,333,400 FSB

If it doesn't then somethings wrong or that not the right modle Number....


Unless you where looking at the Memory Buss speeds...

Im going to call him back guys in a bit, so ill try to get him up adn runnig

Im going my some of the Pic he took to see if i can find the CMOS reset,


Haro if you can take some high rez pids of the motherboard for me and post them

his is the 1x, you can tell buy the Chipset fan, he doesn;t have one.

the rev two has a fan on the chipset

Alrighty, found the owners manual. Also the rev. 1.x shows a fan on the board, but may be a example pic.
