Does anyone else have this cable company? At the condos we live at, Millennium Digital is the ONLY company available. All other cable companies cannot come to this area because I guess MD laid claims to the area? I didn't know they coudl have a "monopoly" over an entire area, but they do. anyways, the BASIC cable plan here is $50/month and it really really sucks. Half of the channels are fuzzy. Upstairs, only five out of 90 channels come in. The channels that come in are crystal clear (channels 36, 37, 38, 39, and 41) the rest are total static. This is only upstairs that nothing comes in at all, downstairs everything comes in, but some chanels have static, while the others are clear. Is this normal for cable to have most of the chanels fuzzy, and some clear ones? Doesn't seem right to me. Why would only five stations come in totally clear upstairs, and the rest are solid static? I don't understand it?

Could be grounding or it could be a faulty or low quality splitter and/or coax cable. All the channels should come in the same quality on every tv. I've got 5 tv'* in my house all with good picture on every channel except 2 where the local stations broadcast over the air, but even those have cleared up lately.

I'd call the cable company for service. The worst they could say is that they are only responsibly for bringing the signal to the building and that its the owners responsiblity from their. In my area we ONLY have Time Warner, but they are decent and have always gone above what I expect when I've needed a tech to trooubleshoot a problem, which is always RoadRunner LOL.
