Thanks for the thought
I do have a floor jack, jack stands and some tools.
And, if we get the apartment we want, we'll have a garage.
It'* not heated though :?
No problem...I'll just run around and hug everyone.

There ya go Tracy I fixed ya up.

I'll be there. While I'd like to say yes and jump on this..I've done one set of drum brakes before and have seen the nightmare a crusty wheel cylinder bolt can be. We can try it.. we may succeed. Brian...do any lines need to be replaced?

Hmmm...Boosty, your too funny.
Actually, I am going to call the garage when they open and tell them just to do it.
It is just to impractical to go another month without a car. Not to mention I can't just leave it sit here for 2 weeks, then have to try to move it when we move.
Thanks for the offers, but I need to get back on the go as soon as possible. It'* to hard getting my oldest daughter back and forth to school, and grocery shopping on the bus is no fun.
Now, I am just praying we get good news on the apartment today.

Okay, it'* Thursday afternoon, 1:30.
Still now word on the new apartment. Getting kinda nervous. Not only will we be devastated, we will only have 2 weeks left to find another place.
Now, Marcia and I are wondering if we should call him? We don't want to be a pain in teh a$$, but we need to know ASAP.
Also, called the garage first thing tomorrow and told them to go ahead and do the brakes, said it should be done before the weekend.
SO, it has been quite the day so far.
Good news is my boss called this morning and gave me the day off, so I have been getting some more stuff done around here.

As an experienced apartment hunter, I say always have a back up plan. I would continue the search just in case this one falls through. Also, I dont see anything wrong wih calling them to find out the status of your application.

That would indicate to them that you are very interested in the apartment.

For all who prayed for us, thanks. We are sooo excited and relieved.

thanks Don and Tony.
Yeah, the relief is unbelievable.
Something like what I just experienced not too long ago.

Tony, yeah, you did say. That.

I shall never doubt you again.
Actually, I didn't really doubt it then, but we were nervous.

Now, the move. Not fun, but oh so worth it.

I called 'em and put in a good word for you.

I also had their files hacked, and changed the numbers of all your competition'* references to dial-a-**** lines.
