You already have - by letting us help you.

Your first order of business is to get those @!#$%^ brakes FIXED! I, for one, was NOT happy when you said you were driving that car with marginal brakes and taking the kids to school in it! It'* one thing if your car won't GO, and an entirely different thing if it won't STOP. I'm certain you all wet your pants when the brakes went out and probably learned a valuable lesson. Glad it turned out to be nothing more than an intense scare. Enough chastisement.

I can tell by your nature that you'll stretch these funds out as much as possible, but be sure to use some of it to buy the girls a couple Happy Meals, or go to a movie or something - you've certainly earned it.

And get those brakes fixed.

PS - Man, I got the hots for that PIF Fairy. What a BABE!! pant pant pant

No Rush, Brian. Even though I have yet to meet you, I know from your posts that you're a great guy, and don't deserve this stuff that'* been shoved in your face (except the PIF, lol). I hope you get back on your feet, and hope that you'll find a place soon. Congrats! You deserve it x10000.

<squeezes into the middle of the group hug>

No need for special words... just "Git R Done" what you have to do... Besides, the whole point of Pay It Forward is to help others... and you both are already doing that with the Habitat for Humanity. In fact, you've gotten others, like myself, involved now who wouldn't have given it a thought... PIF is contagious, but you were already infected long before the PIF Fairy ever thought of you.
