How would you spend 1300 on a tv? Can I keep it?

I can't believe you have two TVs! I'd hold onto it for a while.

We finally got over it and opened it up. It'* now on the bedroom wall.

Old and busted:

New hotness:

We need to figure something out for the cables so it doesn't look ghetto.

I have Plasma in the living room and lcd in the 3 bedrooms and am afraid to hang them on the walls. Looks so much nicer mounted to the wall.

I'd try and paint that power cord the same color as the wall if you can't find another way to hide it. The other cable won't be so noticable if you could stick it closer to the doorframe, maybe some doublesided tape?

It uses 4 large lag screws into the studs to hold the mount plate to the wall. It'* supposed to hold 200 pounds, and the TV only weighs ~60 with the wall mount, so I'm pretty confident it'll hold.

I think we're gonna get a chest of drawers to put under the TV and put a DVD player on it. That will hide the power cord. I am gonna have to tack the cable to the door casing unless I pull up the edge of the carpet or something.

Yeah I am a wimp I could never do it. All I would think about is coming home one day to $1,000 worth of tv smashed on the floor...lol

it took you 7 months to open that Box

I would have had it on the wall within a week. Just kept the box incase they called.

If you like it in the corner like the old tv why not build a corner frame for it?

We like it there. It'* straight down from the foot of the bed. We are gonna get a chair or something for the corner.
