The HP has higher contrast and quicker response time than the Aquos. 50" would be retarded for the room size. I think 37" is pretty good.

BTW, HP took the #1 spot for sales at Best Buy about 3 months ago. No kidding. BB sells more HP tv'* than any other brand.

We have that chair at work. It'* kick-***. It'* in our 'demo area' where we have all the newest products, and a few feet from the kiosk I used to make that calendar. In fact, I think Matt and Joel sat in it prior to WCBF.

It gets used almost constantly, and still works perfectly. You guys will fight over it.

Westinghouse is bad, avoid. It'* like the Kia of TV'*.

HP, well the 37" is ugly IMO, and i'd rather stick with a JVC TV then that. I would however, rather get a nice DLP tv instead of a flat panel myself.

Side note, We have a 36" Sony Vega @ home, the glass is something like 6-7" thick and the damn thing weighs 250 lbs. NOT FUN to move.

I'm a fan of JVC tv'*, at least TUBE tv'*.

But when it comes to flat, I prefer HP. I'm biased, but I also see the best of them daily, and get a big discount.

The fact that Best Buy sells more HP'* than any other brand says something too.

I'm tired of researching and looking. I bought the HP. I'm gonna set the chair up right in front of the TV when it gets here and relax like a ****.

Ok. TV is here and reviewed. I'm happy with picture quality after I adjusted the default settings, and sound quality is good. It is missing some extras, though, like channel label, favorite channels, and front A/V inputs (the main set is pretty easy to access, though). And I'm still trying to figure out why changing picture modes (standard, movie, game, dynamic) alters the sound settings.

Here'* some pics. I had more, including just the original TV so you'd have a better idea what I was starting with (I took them with and without flash to see what looked better) but my wonderful wife decided that she didn't understand what the pictures were so she deleted them. Why she left these two, I'll never understand.
